MailMassive is a safe, easy and speedy way to send large email attachments, up to 1 or 2Gb in size. In the last few years, alongside the growth of the internet, there has been an explosion of digital imaging usage (e.g., high definition video and RAW digital photos, etc.) and the demand for more sophisticated ever-larger slideshows and presentations. The way most people send these large digital files over the internet is as email attachments. However, email attachments are stuck back at 1990's levels, usually around 5Mb. Even with mail services that allow the largest attachment sized (20Mb), it would take 50 fat emails, for example, to send 1Gb of wedding photos!
MailMassive is easier than FTP. And MailMassive is cheaper, faster and more convenient than sending via express mail or courier service.
MailMassive is intended for individuals or corporations to send files they have created themselves. It is point-to-point and private, an extension of email. back to top

In a nutshell: Speed and Size.
Speed: MailMassive only has paying subscribers. Which means we can reserve internet bandwidth for you and ensure you have speedy uploads and downloads. Typically, users find upload and download times at least twice as fast (and sometimes much more) than the leading free service. Upload and download speeds are dependent on many factors including location and internet connection speed of both of subscriber and receiver, internet traffic, pc performance, etc.
Size: The leading free services typically allow sending files of up to only 100Mb in size. MailMassive allows users to send files 5 times to 20 times that size, depending on which plan you subscribe to.
To top that off, we believe MailMassive has the best interface and performance of any of the large file sending services today.back to top
MailMassive is as safe as using email. Files sent by subscribers are uploaded to our secure servers in a Hong Kong data center. They are accessible only by recipients who have received the unique URL link you have sent them. Additionally, we encourage subscribers to password protect files, for additional security. Just like most email, MailMassive files are not encrypted, therefore, we do not encourage the transmission of sensitive financial, credit card or medical data using MailMassive.back to top
MailMassive runs on redundant load-balanced and backed-up servers in a data center in Hong Kong used by a small number of paying subscribers only. Uptime is extremely high and industry standard.back to top
This is influenced by many factors. But here are some speeds for file sending and downloading using MailMassive from fast but typical broadband home connection in Hong Kong:
| SERVICE | TIME to transfer 100Mb file | SPEED | |
| SENDING | Leading Competitor | 40 minutes | 42Kb/sec |
| Mail Massive | 20 minutes | 84Kb/sec | |
| DOWNLOAD | Leading Competitor | 4min 54 sec | 340Kb/sec |
| Mail Massive | 2min 10 sec | 766Kb/sec |
If you had to send a 1Gb file using the connection in the table above, it would take almost 7 hours (while MailMassive should take about 3 hours or less).back to top
