MailMassive allows creative people to send their big files. Photos, videos, music, slides, whatever. Without the time delay and expense of burning CDs or DVDs via courier service. Without the hassle of FTP.

MailMassive is private and point-to-point. No one but your intended recipients sees your files ever. And files can be password protected.

Because MailMassive is a paid-for service, we are able to offer upload and download speeds which many users find to be at least twice as fast as similar free services. And MailMassive never has ads.

MailMassive is also optimized for sending really big files, up to a gigabyte or more. (Although it works just as well for smaller files measured in megabytes!)

Real-world uses of MailMassive include:

"MailMassive. Because speed & size matter."

Subscribers send files by
  1. logging on to MailMassive's password-protected web site;
  2. entering valid email addresses in the "Recipients Email" field;
  3. entering an optional message;
  4. choosing to optionally protect the file with a password;
  5. choosing a file from the users computer to upload/send;
  6. clicking the "Send" button.

Recipients will then receive an email from the subscriber (sent through MailMassive servers) with a link allowing the recipient to download the file (from MailMassive servers) previously uploaded by the subscriber. If the subscriber has elected to protect the file with a password, the recipient will receive a password which must be entered before the file can be downloaded. The file sent by the subscriber will be available for download for one or two weeks (depending on plan; see table). It is not necessary for the sender or receiver of files sent through MailMassive to download any software.

MailMassive is intended to be used for private communications (similar to email or instant messaging). It does not host or display a directories of content (public or private) that is available on its network.
